She started in 1985, managing 10 units. Currently, she is managing 200 properties. Dorthy specializes in managing 4-plexes, duplexes, condos, single family homes, and multi-unit properties. She works with one of the largest builders in Anchorage, Lynn Lythgoe, owner of Land Crafter Homes, and is managing 150 units for the last 13 years. Dorthy also works with John DePorter, owner of Hallmark Homes. She is been managing 12 condos units for 5 years. Dorthy has also worked for J&L Properties, managing 84 of their units. Some of the things Dorthy is responsible for as a Property Manager is: advertising, showing rental units, processing and screening potential tenants, coordinating maintenance, resolving tenant issues, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a positive and courteous attitude with the tenants and owners. The rewards of Property Management are helping others and being able to go the extra mile.
